Redwood National Parks

After scooting out of Seattle, we rock n' rolled our way to Northern California and the Redwood Forests.

Breathtaking, incredible, unbelievable, amazing, awesome and intimidating, the redwoods are definitely worth  seeing. I wish we had been able to stay longer.

We only had one night, so we made the most of it. We played until dark, then we had apple pancakes for breakfast.

The kids scurried around cleaning the dishes so we could pack up camp and go for a hike before leaving.

After packing up, we drove down the coast a bit.

Stately trees silently lifting their arms to heaven, the redwoods stand resolute in their purpose. They are a reminder of the greatness of God and a testimony to thoughts so far above our own. In their presence, time seems absent and the soundless praises emanating from their existence is deafening. I would go back there in a heartbeat and I would plan to stay at least a week.
